Service learning trips (only for groups of 6 students or more)

SERVICE LEARNING

Traveling abroad with a group is a great experience, but traveling and volunteering abroad is truly enriching and life-changing.

At CRLA you have the opportunity to design a volunteer trip to your liking. We’ll work alongside you to plan and make your ideas a reality. You can mix volunteering with Spanish classes, faculty-led courses, excursions, day trips, cultural classes, or anything else you can think of.

You can choose volunteer projects in San José or out of the city, with people or animals, it’s completely up to you. We’d take care of the logistics and all you have to do is come and have a good time.

This is a great option for university faculties or professionals who would like to gain work experience and give a helping hand.

Where you can help

These are some places where you could volunteer at:

  • Orphanages

  • Daycare centers

  • Public schools

  • Soup kitchens

  • With disabled and/or elderly citizens

  • Animal rescue centers

  • Sea turtle conservation

You decide what you can do to help and where; the options are endless!
